The movement from July into August shifts the system once again.
Where Cancer turned inward, Leo moves outward.
Where Cancer felt, Leo expresses.
Where Cancer regulated, Leo asks:
What will I do with what I feel?
In the language of archetype, this passage belongs to Leo—the sign of expression, identity, radiance, and embodied presence.
Within the inner council of the Twelve, this season reflects the movement from John to Philip.
It is the passage from emotional coherence to expressive identity.
From inward regulation to outward radiance.
From feeling to declaration of self.
In the 18-Chakra Covenant system, this shift activates the Solar Plexus Chakra—the center of identity, power, and embodied expression.
Leo: Expression After Regulation
Leo energy is often described as bold or attention-seeking. In practice, I experience it as radiant coherence.
It does not create identity.
It reveals what has already stabilized in the heart.
This includes:
- expressing what has been emotionally integrated
- standing in one’s identity without apology
- allowing presence to be seen
- embodying truth without overexplanation
Leo does not search for validation.
It radiates from internal certainty.
This expression can feel vulnerable if identity has not been stabilized.
But when aligned, Leo becomes:
presence without performance.
John → Philip: From Feeling to Discerned Expression
John feels.
Philip tests what is ready to be expressed.
This is the shift.
John represents:
- emotional awareness
- regulation
- internal safety
- heart-centered perception
Philip represents:
- discernment
- evaluation
- boundary awareness
- testing what is true before expression
The Solar Plexus Chakra is where this transition stabilizes.
Because feeling alone does not determine action.
And expression without discernment leads to misalignment.
Philip ensures that what is expressed is true, aligned, and sustainable.
The Solar Plexus Chakra: Identity as Embodied Truth
The Solar Plexus governs more than confidence.
It governs identity that is lived—not performed.
It stabilizes:
- self-definition
- decision-making
- personal authority
- energetic boundaries
Where the Heart felt truth, the Solar Plexus chooses how to express it.
When my Solar Plexus is aligned:
I act without needing approval
I express without overcompensating
I stand in my identity without force
When my Solar Plexus is unstable:
I seek validation
I overperform
I shrink or dominate
Leo teaches:
identity is not something I prove.
It is something I embody.
Alchemical Salt Blend: Radiant Containment
In Leo, salt becomes structured radiance.
It does not soften like Cancer.
It does not move like Gemini.
It holds power in form.
For this phase, I work with Black Lava Salt—a striking salt infused with activated charcoal, known for its deep black color and grounding, detoxifying qualities. Its presence reflects Leo’s deeper truth:
radiance must be grounded to remain stable.
Black Lava Salt carries both fire (volcanic origin) and earth (mineral density)—making it uniquely suited for Solar Plexus work, where power must be expressed without becoming overwhelming or unstable.

Healing Practice: The John → Philip Alignment
Sit or stand upright.
Place one hand on your heart, one above the navel.
Inhale slowly through the nose.
Exhale fully.
Bring awareness to both centers simultaneously.
Ask:
What do I feel?
What is ready to be expressed from that?
Pause.
Do not rush the answer.
Allow clarity to emerge.
Quietly affirm:
I express what is true—nothing more, nothing less.

This is Philip taking his place.

July–August is not about becoming someone new.
It is about standing as who has already been revealed.
John has already regulated the heart.
Philip ensures that expression is true to that regulation.
This is where:
- feeling becomes identity
- regulation becomes expression
- energy becomes presence
The Solar Plexus teaches:
