The Point — Where You Begin

The First Agreement of the Earth Star Chakra

By Alchemist Iris | Chakra & Energy Healing

This article is part of an ongoing series exploring sacred geometry as a lived, structural process within consciousness. Each piece builds upon the last, moving from the Point to the Present, the Triad, the Square, the Cube, and beyond—revealing how awareness becomes stable, oriented, embodied, and eventually sovereign through experience.

Introduction: Before Movement, There Is Location

Before anything can grow,

before anything can heal,

before anything can rise—

something must be located.

Not imagined.

Not visualized.

Not hoped for.

Located.

There is a moment, often overlooked, where life does not ask for transformation.

It asks for presence.

This is the Point.

It is the simplest structure in existence—

and the most easily overlooked.

The Point Comes Before Everything

Before there is direction,

there must be location.

Before there is orientation,

there must be contact.

Before there is consequence,

there must be presence.

The Point comes before:

  • the Triad
  • the Square
  • the Tree
  • the Cube

The Point does not explain where you are.

It establishes that you are.

The Point Is Not Small

A point is often described as something minimal:

  • a dot
  • a coordinate
  • a position in space

But in lived experience, the Point is not small.

It is absolute.

It is the moment where awareness meets reality without distortion.

Not where the mind wishes to be.

Not where the past has been.

Not where the future is imagined.

But where life is actually occurring.

Right now.

The Point is not symbolic.

It is the exact location where existence is happening.

The Present and the Point

The Point is structure.

The Present is the experience of it.

They are inseparable.

The Point says:

Here.

The Present says:

I recognize that I am here.

The Point exists whether it is recognized or not.

The Present begins when awareness joins it.

The Earth Star Chakra as the Point of Contact

Within the expanded chakra system, the Point corresponds to the Earth Star Chakra.

This is the field beneath the feet where awareness first enters into relationship with reality.

The Earth Star is not concerned with identity.

It is not concerned with belief.

It is concerned with contact.

It establishes relationship with:

  • gravity
  • weight
  • time
  • consequence

The Earth Star does not ask what you think.

It establishes where you stand.

The First Agreement: “I Am Here”

Before grounding,

before safety,

before direction—

there is a single agreement.

Not always conscious.

But always present.

The agreement to exist somewhere real.

The agreement is simple:

I am here.

This agreement requires neither certainty nor confidence.

It requires contact.

Without it:

  • grounding cannot stabilize
  • movement cannot orient
  • awareness cannot sustain itself

The Point is not where life improves.

It is where life becomes real.

Why the Point Is Often Avoided

Many seek:

  • healing
  • awakening
  • expansion
  • higher consciousness

without first locating themselves.

The Point removes abstraction.

At the Point:

  • there is no future to hide in
  • no past to justify position
  • no narrative to escape into

Only presence.

And presence carries weight.

This is why the Point can feel uncomfortable.

Not because it is difficult.

Because it is real.

The Illusion of Movement Without a Point

Without a Point, movement is not movement.

It is drift.

The system may feel active:

  • planning
  • reacting
  • striving
  • imagining

But without location, there is no direction.

This often appears as:

  • chronic restlessness
  • inability to settle
  • disconnection from the body
  • repeated beginnings without completion

Nothing stabilizes because nothing has been anchored.

The Body Already Knows the Point

The body does not struggle with the Point.

It lives it continuously.

Every moment the body is:

  • balancing weight
  • adjusting to gravity
  • responding to pressure
  • locating itself within space

The feet do not wonder where they are.

They know.

The challenge is not teaching the body.

The challenge is allowing awareness to join what the body already knows.

Practice: Entering the Point

Stand or sit.

Allow the body to settle.

Bring awareness to the place where the body meets the ground.

Not conceptually.

Physically.

Feel:

  • the weight
  • the pressure
  • the contact

Do not improve anything.

Do not interpret anything.

Simply remain.

And allow the recognition:

This is where I am.

The Point as the Beginning of Structure

The Point is the beginning of all structure.

From the Point:

  • relationship becomes possible
  • stability can form
  • orientation can emerge
  • direction can appear

Nothing else can be built until location exists.

The Point is the first foundation.

Integration: You Do Not Begin by Rising

You begin by standing.

Not metaphorically.

Literally.

Before energy rises,

before healing expands,

before awareness deepens—

something must be located.

The Point does not announce itself.

It does not demand attention.

It simply waits.

And when it is recognized, something shifts:

  • movement gains direction
  • grounding becomes possible
  • awareness stabilizes

Not because something new has been added.

Because something real has finally been acknowledged.

Closing: The First Yes

There are many stages of awareness.

Many structures.

Many journeys.

But none of them matter without the first one.

The quiet agreement:

I am here.

Not where life should be.

Not where life might become.

Here.

And from here—

everything else begins.
