- Governing Question: What will I choose?
You can know what to do and never do it.
You can have the education, the resources, the opportunity, the right persona, excellent advice, and a perfectly reasonable plan—and still choose not to act.
That distinction brings us to the Solar Plexus Chakra.
The Solar Plexus is Adam’s inherited seat of Will: the sovereign capacity to choose the direction in which Adam will move within Adamic jurisdiction.
Its question is remarkably simple:
What will I choose?
Not:
- What should I choose?
- What does somebody else want me to choose?
- What would be easiest?
- What do I know is best?
The question is: What will I choose? Because in the end, Adam chooses.
But there is another question we must now add: From where is Adam ruling? That question brings us to Jerusalem.
The Architecture We Have Built So Far
The chakras are not isolated energy centers. They form an architecture.
- At the Earth Star, Adam arrives with Blueprint—encoded purpose. Purpose belongs to Divine jurisdiction. Adam does not determine why Adam exists, but Adam does determine how to respond to the curriculum of incarnation.
- At the Root, the question becomes: Where are you? What are you rooted in? The condition of the soil matters because whatever Adam builds will be built from somewhere.
- At the Sacral, purpose begins requiring development: Who must I become to manifest this? A persona is conceived and cultivated for the work. Adam may need education, training, experience, discipline, practice, credentials, or specialized abilities. But the persona never becomes sovereign. Adam wears the persona. The persona does not wear Adam.
- Then we arrive at the Solar Plexus. Adam may know where he is. Adam may understand something about his purpose. Adam may have developed the personality and capabilities necessary for the assignment. None of that answers the Solar Plexus question: Will I do it?
The Triad: Source, Adam, and Eve
Before we go any further, we need to establish who is actually present within this manifestation architecture. The Triad is: Source. Adam. Eve.
They are not interchangeable. They do not possess the same jurisdiction. And none must be erased for the others to function properly.
- Source: Source establishes Divine order and Blueprint. Purpose originates within Divine jurisdiction. Adam does not create the ultimate reason for Adam’s incarnation and then inform Source of the plan. There is already a Blueprint.
- Adam: Adam possesses Free Will. Adam governs Adamic jurisdiction. Adam chooses. Adam consents. Adam establishes boundaries. Adam decides whether to participate. Adam acts. Adam evaluates. Adam corrects. Adam remains responsible for the government of Adam’s kingdom.
- Eve: Eve accompanies Adam within the manifestation process. She brings capacities that assist manifestation without acquiring sovereignty over Adam. At the Solar Plexus, her Capacity is the Spirit of Might. Eve strengthens Adam’s determination, but Eve does not choose for Adam.
This gives us a fundamental distinction:
Source establishes purpose.
Adam chooses.
Eve strengthens manifestation.
Three members. Three functions. One manifestation architecture.
Free Will Does Not Mean Separation From Source
This distinction is essential. Adam possesses Free Will. But Free Will does not mean that Adam was designed to govern in isolation from Source.
The existence of Divine order does not eliminate Adam’s Will. And Adam’s possession of Will does not eliminate Source. The relationship depends upon Adam freely choosing alignment.
Source does not need to seize Adam’s throne to establish alignment. Adam must choose it. That means alignment is meaningful precisely because Adam can choose otherwise. Adam can exercise Will without being aligned with Source. This distinction becomes central to understanding Jerusalem.
Jerusalem: The Capital of the Aligned Kingdom
The biblical governmental correspondence of the Solar Plexus is Jerusalem. But we need to be precise about what Jerusalem represents.
Jerusalem is not simply any place from which Adam makes decisions. Adam can exercise Free Will while badly misaligned. Jerusalem represents something more specific: Jerusalem is Adam’s proper seat of government when Adam is ruling in alignment with Source.
This is why Jerusalem is such an important biblical image. Jerusalem is the capital. Jerusalem is associated with Divine presence. Jerusalem contains the Temple. The governmental center and the Divine presence occupy the same sacred geography. Within this framework, that is not accidental.
Jerusalem represents the place where Adam’s government and Source alignment meet. Adam does not become Source. Source does not become Adam. Source does not confiscate Adam’s Will. Adam remains responsible for the kingdom. But Adam governs the kingdom in alignment with Source.
Therefore: Solar Plexus is the seat of Will. Jerusalem is the aligned seat of Adamic government.
To Rule From Jerusalem
To rule from Jerusalem does not mean Adam has surrendered Free Will. It means Adam is using Free Will coherently.
- Adam is still choosing.
- Adam is still evaluating.
- Adam is still responsible.
- Adam can still say yes.
- Adam can still say no.
- Adam can still pause.
- Adam can still reconsider.
- Adam can still correct.
Alignment is not the destruction of Will. It is the ordering of Will. Therefore, Adam ruling from Jerusalem is Adam exercising Free Will in alignment with Source.
This is aligned self-government. And it prepares us for something that develops later in the chakra architecture:
- At the Solar Plexus: Adam learns to rule with Source.
- At the Heart: Adam learns to walk with Source.
Alignment precedes communion. Source has not suddenly appeared at the Heart; Source was present all along. What develops later is the quality ofেল relationship.
Knowledge Is Not Will
There are people who possess enormous amounts of knowledge. They can explain what everyone else should do. They may understand politics, relationships, business, health, spirituality, economics, or human behavior. They may have wisdom derived from decades of experience.
And yet they may never execute anything they know. The proverbial corner philosopher can diagnose everybody’s problem while doing very little with his own life. Why? Because knowledge and Will are not the same faculty.
There are at least three separate questions:
- Knowledge: Do I know what to do?
- Capability: Do I know how to do it?
- Will: Will I do it?
Only Adam can answer the last question. Wisdom cannot answer it for Adam. Knowledge cannot answer it. A persona cannot answer it. Eve cannot answer it. Even Divine instruction does not eliminate Adam’s ability to choose. Free Will is the bottom line.
The Solar Plexus and the Seed
The Solar Plexus does not necessarily create the seed. Adam encounters seeds constantly:
- An idea.
- An opportunity.
- A relationship.
- A career.
- A boundary.
- A business.
- A move.
- A course of study.
- A lifestyle change.
- A creative project.
- A response to something that has happened.
There may be many possibilities within Adam’s field at the same time. Will particularizes. Out of all the possibilities, Adam says: This one. The Solar Plexus fixates upon the seed of Adam’s choosing.
The seed you notice is not necessarily the seed you choose. The seed you understand is not necessarily the seed you choose. The seed someone recommends is not necessarily the seed you choose. The Solar Plexus requires Adam to exercise Will.
Choice Is Not Action
Choosing the seed does not mean Adam has planted it. Suppose Adam says: I choose to become healthier. That is a choice.
Adam may research nutrition. Adam may understand exercise. Adam may make a schedule. Adam may buy workout clothes. Adam may discuss the plan with friends. Adam may sincerely intend to begin. But the seed has not been planted merely because Adam chose it. The seed is planted when Adam acts upon the choice.
Therefore: Choice selects the seed. Action plants it. Execution begins with action.
Adam Must Do the Work
This is where spiritual language can become dangerous if it causes Adam to transfer responsibility somewhere else.
- The persona cannot do Adam’s work.
- The chakras cannot do Adam’s work.
- Eve cannot do Adam’s work.
- Source does not assume Adam’s jurisdiction and do Adam’s work for him.
Adam must act. If Adam has trained for years to become an astronaut, the astronaut persona provides specialized capability. But the astronaut persona does not wake up one morning and go to work independently. Adam puts on the persona. Adam goes.
The same Adam may later put the astronaut persona away and become a surfer, parent, musician, gardener, teacher, business owner, or friend. The persona is equipment. Adam remains the living person exercising Will.
Execution Is Enormous
Planting is only the beginning. A seed may require hundreds or thousands of subsequent actions before mature manifestation.
- Conditions change.
- Information changes.
- People change.
- Resources change.
- Opportunities appear.
- Problems emerge.
- Something that seemed simple becomes complicated.
- A plan fails.
- Another route appears.
- Money runs short.
- New resources become available.
The Cube introduces resistance because material existence includes limitation, time, other people, resources, seasons, cause and effect, and conditions Adam does not control. This is why execution requires more than determination. And this is where Gemini and Taurus become important.
Gemini: The Moving Parts
Once Adam acts, things start moving. Gemini handles the operational complexity of movement:
- Communication.
- Information.
- Scheduling.
- Networking.
- Sequencing.
- Coordination.
- Changing circumstances.
- Multiple activities happening at once.
- Alternatives.
- Problem-solving.
- Adaptation.
Gemini can discover: This route isn’t working. Gemini can identify: Here are three other routes. Gemini can report: Conditions have changed. Gemini can coordinate: These five things now need attention.
But Gemini does not decide where Adam’s kingdom is ultimately going. Gemini coordinates movement within the direction Adam has authorized. Adam remains the chooser.
Taurus: The Shopping List
Then Taurus grounds the decision in material reality. Adam says: This is what I choose to do. Taurus effectively responds: Then this is what you will need. Taurus gives Adam the shopping list.
Suppose Adam decides to build a house. The decision itself does not produce the house. Now Adam needs land, money, plans, permits, materials, labor, equipment, transportation, time, inspections, utilities, and innumerable other practical resources.
Or suppose Adam chooses to become a physician. The seed comes with requirements: education, tuition, books, transportation, years of time, examinations, clinical training, physical stamina, and much more. Taurus confronts Adam with the practical requirements of the choice: What will this require in material reality?
The shopping list may include time, money, physical energy, tools, materials, space, equipment, skills, supplies, maintenance, infrastructure, and quality requirements. But Taurus does not manage Adam’s kingdom. Adam does. Taurus does not acquire the resources for Adam. Taurus does not determine how Adam will allocate them. Taurus does not decide whether the cost is acceptable. Taurus does not command Adam to continue. Taurus shows Adam what the choice requires. Adam remains responsible for the kingdom.
This Is Where Dreams Meet Cost
Every manifestation has a cost. Not necessarily punishment. Not necessarily money. Cost means: What must be invested, supplied, exchanged, developed, maintained, or relinquished for this particular manifestation to proceed?
- “I want it” does not answer that question.
- “I believe I can have it” does not answer it.
- “I deserve it” does not answer it.
Taurus brings the manifestation down to earth: What does this require? And Adam decides whether to pay that cost.
- Adam may look at the shopping list and say: Yes.
- Adam may say: No.
- Adam may say: Not now.
- Adam may say: I need another way.
That is government.
Commitment to the Seed Is Not Commitment to One Method
Gemini and Taurus work together beautifully here. Taurus keeps the requirements grounded. Gemini keeps execution adaptable.
Suppose Adam remains committed to the seed but discovers that the original method will not work. Gemini can identify another route. Taurus can reveal what the new route requires. Adam can choose again.
Therefore: Adaptation does not necessarily mean abandonment. Changing the method does not automatically mean abandoning the seed. Changing your mind does not automatically mean you lack Will. Sometimes changing your mind is evidence that government is functioning.
Eve Brings the Spirit of Might
Eve’s Solar Plexus Capacity is the Spirit of Might.
Might is not Will. Eve does not choose for Adam. Eve does not plant the seed. Eve does not execute the assignment. Might strengthens Adam’s determination to carry through a freely chosen decision despite resistance.
Think about a mountain climber. The climber has chosen the mountain. The climber has trained. The climber has equipment. The climber has a route. Then comes exhaustion. Cold. Fear. Altitude. Unexpected weather. Pain. Setbacks. At some point, information alone is insufficient. There is something within that says: Keep going. That is the function we are identifying with Might.
But even Might does not override Adam. Adam can still stop. Free Will remains intact.
Determination Does Not Guarantee Outcome
Adam can do everything Adam knows to do and still not control the entire outcome.
- Adam can possess Will.
- Adam can have the appropriate persona.
- Adam can act.
- Gemini can coordinate effectively.
- Taurus can correctly identify the practical requirements.
- Adam can obtain the necessary resources.
- Eve can strengthen Adam with Might.
- Adam can persist.
And the manifestation may still encounter conditions outside Adam’s jurisdiction. Other Adams possess Free Will. Nature operates according to laws Adam did not create. Circumstances change. Information is incomplete. Resources can become unavailable. Adam does not know everything.
Therefore: Adam governs his participation, not the entire outcome. Everything else is cooperative.
Jerusalem Does Not Micromanage the Kingdom
Jerusalem is the capital. But a capital does not perform every function within a kingdom.
- Jerusalem does not need to do Gemini’s work.
- Jerusalem does not need to do Taurus’s work.
- Jerusalem does not need to perform the functions of every other chakra.
Directional government is not micromanagement. When Adam rules from Jerusalem, the kingdom’s legitimate jurisdictions remain intact. Gemini coordinates. Taurus identifies practical requirements. Personas provide specialized capabilities. Eve brings her Capacities. The other chakras perform their respective offices. Adam governs the kingdom.
When Adam Is Not Ruling From Jerusalem
This is where the biblical allegory becomes particularly powerful. Jerusalem is never stable when Adam is not aligned in rulership with Source.
When aligned government collapses, the biblical story repeatedly gives us images of: siege, foreign occupation, destruction, captivity, and exile. Within this framework, those images describe something about internal government.
When Adam is no longer governing in alignment with Source, something foreign can begin exercising authority within the kingdom. Jerusalem becomes occupied. Babylon becomes an especially powerful image for this condition.
Babylon: Foreign Government in Adam’s Kingdom
Babylon is not Adam. Babylon does not possess legitimate sovereignty over Adam’s internal kingdom. Yet Babylon can become the governing power. How? Adam can become subject to something that should never have occupied Jerusalem.
- Fear can govern.
- Appetite can govern.
- Status can govern.
- Money can govern.
- Resentment can govern.
- Social approval can govern.
- An inherited belief can govern.
- A persona can govern.
- Another Adam’s expectations can govern.
- A destructive pattern can govern.
Something that should have remained subordinate begins functioning as sovereign. This is foreign occupation. And the diagnostic question becomes: Who is ruling Jerusalem?
Captivity: When Adam Serves What Should Not Govern Him
Captivity does not mean Adam ceases to possess Free Will. If Free Will disappeared, Adam would no longer be Adam.
Instead, captivity describes a governmental condition. Adam has become subordinated, constrained, habituated, intimidated, seduced, conditioned, indebted, or entangled with something that now exercises inappropriate power over Adam’s choices. The governing relationship has been inverted. Adam begins serving what Adam was supposed to govern.
Consider the persona. Adam may spend twenty years developing a professional persona. That persona may be extraordinarily valuable. But then Adam says: I spent twenty years becoming this. Therefore, I have no choice but to remain this.
The persona has crossed a boundary. What was created to serve Adam now governs Adam. That is captivity. Past investment has acquired sovereignty it was never entitled to possess.
Exile: Displacement From Aligned Government
Exile can now be read as governmental displacement. Adam has been removed from the proper seat of aligned rulership.
Jerusalem still represents the proper capital. Source remains Source. Adam remains Adam. Eve remains Eve. Free Will still exists. But Adam is no longer ruling from Jerusalem. Adam is living under foreign government.
This gives biblical exile a very different meaning from the simplistic idea: Adam made God angry, so God threw Adam away. Exile becomes diagnostic. Something has happened to the government. Adam has become displaced from the proper seat of aligned self-rule.
A House Divided
This also deepens the teaching that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Division is not simply disagreement. It is not receiving conflicting information. It is not reconsidering. It is not discovering that the original plan was wrong. It is not choosing differently from what someone else believes Adam should choose. Free Will permits reconsideration.
The deeper governmental problem appears when Adam recognizes Source alignment but repeatedly governs contrary to it:
- Adam knows the boundary is necessary but repeatedly authorizes its violation.
- Adam recognizes that a pattern is destructive but continues serving it.
- Adam knows that something has become master but refuses to reclaim government.
The capital becomes unstable. The problem is not merely informational. It is governmental.
Three Solar Plexus Governmental Failures
We can now identify at least three major jurisdictional failures:
- Abdication: I will not govern what belongs to me. Adam refuses to occupy Adam’s governmental office. But life does not stop because Adam refuses to govern. Time continues. Habits continue. Relationships continue. Patterns continue. Consequences accumulate. Therefore, not governing is consequential.
- Domination: I will govern what belongs to you. Adam attempts to extend Adamic Will beyond its legitimate jurisdiction. Adam governs Adam’s choices, consent, participation, boundaries, responses, and direction. Adam does not possess sovereign jurisdiction over another Adam’s internal government.
- Captivity: I permit something that belongs under my government to govern me. The proper hierarchy becomes inverted. Adam begins serving what should have remained subordinate.
Together, these describe three different governmental disorders: Abdication abandons Adam’s jurisdiction, Domination invades another Adam’s jurisdiction, and Captivity allows a foreign power to occupy Adam’s jurisdiction.
Unconscious Construction
Most people do not wake up one morning and consciously announce: I am going to build a life I don’t want. It happens gradually:
- Circumstance.
- Reaction.
- Small choice.
- Accommodation.
- Repetition.
- Continued participation.
- Established condition.
A temporary situation becomes five years. A compromise becomes a lifestyle. A neglected boundary becomes a relationship pattern. An emergency solution becomes the permanent structure.
Eventually Adam may look around and wonder: How did I get here? Adam may never have consciously selected the final kingdom, but repeated participation helped construct it. This is the movement I describe as Unconscious Construction. The work is to move toward Conscious Construction.
Return to Jerusalem
The biblical story does not end with captivity. There is return. There is rebuilding. There is restoration. There is reestablishment of government.
Within this framework, Return to Jerusalem represents the restoration of aligned self-government.
- Adam comes out of captivity.
- Adam identifies the foreign government.
- Adam returns to the proper capital.
- Adam rebuilds what has been damaged.
- Adam restores boundaries.
- Adam resumes responsibility.
- Adam reestablishes order.
And importantly, Source does not perform Adam’s governmental work for him. Adam participates in restoration. This is another exercise of Will. The same Free Will that allowed Adam to leave alignment is required for Adam to return.
Jerusalem Is A Diagnostic
The condition of Jerusalem therefore tells us something about the condition of Adam’s government. Jerusalem may signify alignment, coherence, division, neglect, foreign occupation, captivity, destruction, restoration, or renewed government.
But external difficulty alone does not prove Jerusalem has fallen. Jerusalem can be under pressure while Adam remains aligned with Source. Other Adams possess Free Will. The Cube contains resistance. Resources can be scarce. Circumstances can be severe. Opposition can be real.
Therefore, a challenged kingdom is not necessarily a misgoverned kingdom. The diagnostic question is not simply: What is happening to Adam? It is: Who is governing Jerusalem?
The Solar Plexus Creation Architecture
We can now see the architecture more clearly:

The Solar Plexus Question
The Solar Plexus is not primarily asking whether you are powerful. You already possess Will. The question is what you are doing with it.
You have a jurisdiction:
- Your choices.
- Your consent.
- Your participation.
- Your boundaries.
- Your responses.
- Your direction.
You cannot govern another Adam’s internal kingdom. You cannot command the entire manifestation field. You cannot guarantee outcomes. But you are responsible for your kingdom.
So the Solar Plexus asks:
What will I choose?
And after you choose: Will I act?
And beneath both questions lies another: From where am I ruling?
Because choice selects the seed. Action plants it. Repeated participation builds. And alignment determines whether Adam is ruling from Jerusalem or living under foreign government.
The goal is not the surrender of Free Will. The goal is aligned Free Will.
At the Solar Plexus, Adam learns to rule with Source. Later, at the Heart, Adam will learn something more intimate: walk with God.
But first, Jerusalem must be governed. Who is ruling your Jerusalem?
I really enjoyed reading your article about the solar plexus chakra and how it connects to personal power, confidence, and inner balance. The way you explain the link between emotional well-being and this energy center makes it much easier to understand how deeply it can influence everyday life, especially when it comes to self-esteem and decision-making. I also like how you emphasize practical ways to work with this chakra instead of keeping it purely theoretical. It makes the topic feel more accessible and usable in real life.
Do you think people usually notice solar plexus imbalances more through emotional signs like insecurity, or through physical symptoms like digestion issues first?
Hanna, I really appreciate how you received the piece—especially your focus on making the Solar Plexus work practical. That’s exactly where this center becomes transformative, not just insightful.
To your question—what people notice first—it actually tends to follow a pattern, but not always in the way we expect.
Most people become aware through emotional and behavioral signs first, even if they don’t immediately recognize them as Solar Plexus-related. Things like:
second-guessing decisions
needing external validation
overcompensating with control or perfectionism
avoiding responsibility or visibility
These are often the first signals, because the Solar Plexus is fundamentally about governance of self—how I direct my will in real time.
But here’s the deeper layer:
by the time those patterns are consistent, the body is usually already involved.
The Solar Plexus is closely tied to the digestive system, so physical symptoms like:
gut tension or tightness
inconsistent appetite
bloating or sluggish digestion
adrenal fatigue patterns
can show up alongside—or shortly after—the emotional signals.
What’s interesting is that different people anchor awareness differently:
Someone more internally reflective might notice the confidence/decision-making disruptions first
Someone more body-aware might notice the digestive discomfort first
But both are expressions of the same thing:
a disruption in how power is processed, stabilized, and expressed.
In your framework, this is where the distinction becomes important:
Emotional signals show how power is being interpreted
Physical signals show how power is being held
And when both are aligned, there’s a very specific feeling:
clarity without force, confidence without tension, and action that doesn’t require overexertion.
That’s when the Solar Plexus isn’t trying to prove power—it’s simply operating from it.
If you’ve noticed this in your own experience, I’d actually be curious—which one tends to show up first for you: the internal shift in confidence, or the physical sensation in the body?
