The Meditation: Stepping Through the Gateway
Part I: Awakening the Root
Close your eyes and allow your body to become still. Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. Hold it gently. Now exhale completely, letting go of the day’s noise.
Again… Breathe in the warmth of summer. Breathe out every fear that has weighed upon your heart. With each breath, allow your body to settle more deeply into the present moment.
Bring your awareness to the base of your spine, the home of your Root Chakra. Imagine a brilliant ruby-red sphere of light slowly awakening there. With every inhale, it expands. With every exhale, it grows steadier, heavier, and more secure. Reiki begins flowing naturally through this center, dissolving anxiety, uncertainty, and every illusion that tells you you are unsupported.
Part II: The Crimson Roots
Now imagine yourself standing barefoot in a vast summer meadow. The earth beneath your feet is warm from the afternoon sun. A gentle breeze carries the fragrance of blooming fields while golden light dances across the landscape. Every step reminds you that the Earth welcomes your presence.
As you breathe, roots of crimson light extend from your feet deep into the living heart of the Earth. They move effortlessly through rich soil, ancient stone, and underground rivers until they reach a brilliant crystal core glowing with divine life. From this sacred center, Reiki rises upward through your roots like liquid light.
Feel this healing energy filling your feet… Your legs… Your hips… Your abdomen… Your heart… Your shoulders… Your arms… Your hands… Your neck… Your mind…
Your entire body becomes grounded in perfect peace.

- With your second breath: Release the fear of not having enough.
- With your third breath: Release every belief that tells you you are separated from divine provision.
The circle of thirteen shines brighter. You feel yourself crossing an invisible threshold. Not into a different world… but into a new way of standing within this one.
You are no longer rooted in fear. You are rooted in trust. You are no longer driven by scarcity. You are guided by stewardship. You are no longer struggling to survive. You are learning to cultivate.
Affirmations for a Secure Foundation
