The Point — Where You Begin

The First Agreement of the Earth Star Chakra

By Alchemist Iris | Chakra & Energy Healing

Introduction: Before Movement, There Is Location

Before anything can grow,
before anything can heal,
before anything can rise—

something must be located.

Not imagined.
Not visualized.
Not hoped for.

Located.

There is a moment, often overlooked, where life does not ask for transformation.
It asks for presence.

This is the Point.

It is the simplest structure in existence,
and the most easily avoided.

The Point Is Not Small

A point is often described as something minimal—
a dot, a position, a place in space.

But in lived experience, the Point is not small.

It is absolute.

It is the moment where the body meets reality without distortion.

  • Not where the mind wishes to be
  • Not where the past has been
  • Not where the future is imagined

But where the body is, right now.

The Point is not symbolic.

It is the exact location where life is happening.

The Earth Star Chakra as the Point of Contact

Within the expanded chakra system, this first point corresponds to the Earth Star Chakra—the field beneath the feet where the body meets the structural reality of the Earth.

This is not a chakra of emotion.
It is not a chakra of identity.

It is the place where the body enters into agreement with:

  • gravity
  • weight
  • time
  • consequence

The Earth Star does not ask how you feel.

It establishes where you stand.

The First Agreement: “I Am Here”

Before stability, before grounding, before safety—
there is a decision.

Not always conscious.
But always present.

The decision to exist somewhere real.

This is the first agreement:

I am here.

This agreement does not require certainty.
It does not require confidence.
It does not require clarity.

It requires contact.

Without this agreement, everything that follows becomes unstable:

  • grounding cannot hold
  • movement becomes scattered
  • awareness detaches from the body

The Point is not where life improves.

It is where life begins to become real.

Why the Point Is Often Avoided

Many people seek healing, expansion, or higher awareness
without ever locating themselves.

This is not failure.
It is conditioning.

The Point can feel confronting because it removes abstraction.

At the Point:

  • there is no narrative to hide inside
  • no future to escape into
  • no past to justify position

Only presence.

And presence carries weight.

To stand at the Point is to feel:

  • the body as it is
  • the environment as it is
  • life as it is

Without adjustment.

For many, this feels like restriction.

In reality, it is orientation.

The Illusion of Movement Without a Point

Without a Point, movement is not movement.

It is drift.

The system may feel active—thinking, planning, reacting—but without location, there is no direction.

This often appears as:

  • chronic restlessness
  • inability to settle
  • disconnection from the body
  • cycles of starting without sustaining

It is not a lack of effort.

It is a lack of placement.

Nothing stabilizes because nothing has been anchored.

The Body Already Knows the Point

The body does not struggle with this concept.

It lives it.

Every moment, the body is:

  • balancing weight
  • adjusting to gravity
  • responding to pressure
  • locating itself in space

The feet, in particular, are in constant communication with the Earth.

They do not ask where they are.

They know.

The challenge is not teaching the body.

It is allowing awareness to return to where the body already is.

Practice: Entering the Point

This is not a visualization.

It is a return.

Stand or sit.

Let the body settle.

Bring attention to the place where the body meets the ground.

Not conceptually—physically.

Feel the weight.

Feel the pressure.

Feel the exact place where contact is happening.

Do not change anything.

Do not improve anything.

Do not interpret anything.

Simply remain.

And allow the recognition:

This is where I am.

The Point as the Beginning of Structure

The Cube cannot exist without the Point.

Structure does not begin with complexity.

It begins with location.

From the Point:

  • relationship becomes possible
  • stability can form
  • direction can emerge
  • structure can build

But none of that happens until the first agreement is made.

Integration: You Do Not Begin by Rising

You begin by standing.

Not metaphorically.

Literally.

Before energy rises,
before healing expands,
before awareness deepens—

something must be located.

The Point is not dramatic.
It does not announce itself.

It simply waits.

And when it is acknowledged, even briefly, something shifts:

  • movement gains direction
  • grounding becomes possible
  • presence begins to stabilize

Not because something new has been added—

but because something real has been recognized.

Closing: The First Yes

There are many steps on the path of awareness.

But none of them matter without the first one.

The quiet, often unseen agreement:

I am here.

Not where life should be.
Not where it is going.

Here.

And from here,
everything else can begin.
